Genesis Gear Graduated Square Filter is an ideal solution for photographers shooting in difficult lighting conditions. The construction of the filter limits the amount of light reaching the camera’s sensor. Such a filter is needed to compensate the exposure of two parts of the frame. The first (bright) part of the frame will be compensated by the filter, while the second will remain neutral. As an example of using a gradual neutral density filter, consider shooting a horizon line where the upper part of the frame may be overexposed at long exposure times.
